Unspoken Words - A Night of Reflection and Revelation

This post is unique: AkM shares her reflections of that night—the laughter, silences, and a growing understanding between us—from her perspective. Her insights, woven with my own, reveal layers of connection I hadn’t fully realized. Reading her words felt like reliving the call, experiencing the night anew through her lens. Here’s How I Remember My Night of April 27th: Our 10 PM Ritual: The Quiet Anticipation Those nightly 10 PM calls had become something I eagerly anticipated each day. As I completed my tasks, the rest of the world faded away, knowing that once the clock struck 10, it would be just the two of us in a space we had created together. But tonight, everything felt different. There was an unspoken understanding that this was the last time for a while, and that awareness made the call feel fragile—like something precious neither of us wanted to let slip away. The day had been filled with a quiet, nervous anticipation as I watched the clock, wrapping up final interactions wit...

A Memorable Call: From Texts to True Connection

Post-COVID, Zoom calls became routine - first for work, then for catching up with friends, and eventually for distance learning courses. It was in one of these distance learning courses that I first met AkM. In today’s digital age, connection feels both accessible and elusive - a mix of quick texts, brief calls, and fleeting exchanges. Occasionally, though, someone can make even a virtual call feel profound - a moment when time and conversation flow effortlessly. Of all those video calls, one with AkM stands out. This was our first video call after our online course had ended, planned after many days of uninterrupted texting. That night, what started as a simple online meeting turned into something unexpectedly meaningful, blurring the screen between us. It was different in the best way - filled with laughter, trust, and spontaneity. Just an evening spent talking, playing games, and listening to music, yet it left an impression that would linger long after we logged off. The Countdown ...

Midlife Revelations: A New Friend and Fresh Perspectives

Whatsapp Note to AkM I guess if I had to choose a title for the current chapter of my life, the above title would best summarize it. I am happy I joined the course, even though my primary reason for doing so was singular-I like to keep my CV updated, and I hadn't made any changes in the last few years. What came as a complete surprise was finding a new friend. I do not remember making any friends over the last two decades. Being an introvert, it's always challenging to express myself openly or in larger groups. I often find solace in scribbling down my thoughts or taking long, peaceful walks, engaging in introspection, analysis, and discussion with myself. Getting to know you and hearing your unfiltered thoughts has helped me realize that everyone is fighting their own battles. However, that shouldn't stop us from enjoying life. So, my new plan is to take a break at every available opportunity, something I haven't done in the last decade, and to capture some memories th...
